Job Description To conduct inspections, tests and evaluations on raw materials, in-process and finished products to ensure conformity with established standards and specifications. Job Details / Responsibilities · Carry out inspections, tests, and programmes in accordance with established schedules and procedures and initiate corrective actions in accordance with approved procedures. · Inspect and test incoming materials in accordance with established sampling plans, procedures, and specifications · Conduct calibration and accuracy tests on operating equipment in accordance with approved procedures · Document analyses, records and logs for all inspections, tests and evaluations carried out and determine compliance of materials with current specifications and issue approvals for use in production or hold/deviate/reject status as necessary · Carry out sensory programmes, tests, and input data · Carry out inspections of company warehouses in accordance with approved schedules · Conduct field audits on damaged and returned products and sanitation levels · Conduct quality audits on all production lines to ensure compliance with established specifications and initiate corrective actions in accordance with approved procedures · Investigate and report on complaints or discrepancies relating to material or production line audits. · Participate in conduct of special projects as assigned or in related research and development.
