Valid forklift license required Job Description The Stores Attendant is responsible for inspecting goods for damage or defects, doing data entry work, ensuring that the receiving area is clean and organized, maintaining physical inventories, arranging products on shelves, packing items and pulling items based on production orders. Job Details / Responsibilities Receiving goods from Local and Foreign suppliers. Receiving shipments from the port and verifying the quality and accuracy of the order against the Purchase Order (P.O). Driving of forklift to off load delivery trucks and off loading containers. Driving of forklift as necessary for the transportation of material. Periodic Inventory checks and re-shelving stock items. Stores goods in relevant areas in the warehouse to assure quality. Assisting in the cleaning up of the Stores Area. To prepare goods received notes. Assisting with the preparation of fortnightly control sheets. Updating cardex cards on a daily basis. Assists in annual stock count. Assists in monthly cycle counts. Pulling raw material for production, installation and dispatch departments. To perform other such duties as may be required and which will fall within the general ambit of the post.
