ASSISTANT MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
While there are many duties and responsibilities for an Assistant Manager, some include:
• Schedule and coordinate meetings.
• Conduct employee performance reviews.
• Develop good customer relationships.
• Participate in recruitment and dismissal processes.
• Smooth out problems within the workplace.
Address employee and customer concerns.
Develop strategies for better workplace efficiency and goal achievement.
Email and phone correspondence.
• Liaise between managers, customers and employees.
• Provide direction to staff.
• Monitor spending patterns and budget.
• Fill in for General Manager (GM) in times of absence. Make executive decisions, hold meetings and provide
accountability.
• Troubleshoot POS system.
• Support ongoing learning and development of team members.
• Help create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment.
REQUIREMENTS;
⚫ A diploma or degree in business management, marketing, human resource or equivalent.
• ACCA level 1 or equivalent, experience necessary
• They should have the necessary computer skills as per the needs of the organization
• Must be able to manage and oversee schedules
• They should be proficient in a managerial role
• A previous managerial experience is a plus, more if one is from a similar field
They should be collaborative and have the qualities of a leader
They must be able to evaluate the staff that reports to them.
Having a vehicle is an asset
