Job Summary:
The Messenger will receive and pick up packages, documents, messages, floral arrangements/bouquets and other items, and deliver them to specified recipients or locations.
Reporting Line:
Full-time position Reporting directly to Logistics Supervisor. 
Duties/Responsibilities:
🌻Securely delivers packages, documents, written and verbal messages, floral arrangements/bouquets and other items to intended location(s) or recipient(s) in a timely manner.
🌻Plans the most efficient and expedient delivery route from place to place; organizes deliveries accordingly
🌻Obtains required signatures and/or payments at time of delivery.
🌻Maintains accurate records related to the receipt and delivery of packages, documents, messages, and other items, including tracking time of and parties to the delivery.
🌻Unloads items from large trucks and loads them onto smaller vehicles for delivery.
🌻Performs or schedules standard maintenance on delivery vehicles.
🌻May perform office, clerical, and other related duties as assigned.
🌻Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
🌻Excellent verbal and written communication skills
🌻Basic understanding of customer service
🌻Ability to maintain accurate records.
🌻Ability to understand and follow directions.
🌻Ability to maintain the safety and security of packages, documents, messages, and other items received or being delivered.
🌻Thorough understanding of maps and directions, and traffic rules.
Education and Experience:
• Minimum of three (3) Ordinary Level Subjects including Mathematics and English. 
• At least three (3) years experience in a similar position, with similar responsibilities. 
• Valid Trinidad and Tobago Driver's Permit (preference will be given to Class 4/Heavy T)
Other Requirements:
➡️Prolonged periods walking, standing or driving a vehicle.
➡️Must be able to quickly enter and exit vehicles and/or buildings.
➡️Must be able to perform deliveries in all types of weather
➡️Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds at times.
➡️Must be conscientious about road safety. 
➡️Reliable working vehicle, with air-conditioning 
➡️Mobile phone, with data.
