PAYROLL AND HUMAN RESOURCE CLERK

DESCRIPTION
This individual is responsible for supporting the Human Resource department with daily tasks. These include filing, leave tracking, benefits administration, and payroll administration.

HUMAN RESOURCES
1. Provide clerical support to the HR department
2. Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records
3. Maintain employee leave file to ensure that it accurately reflects leave taken by staff
4. Assist with the planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrolment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, etc.
5. Assist with Group Health claims, enrolment, and withdrawals
6. Assist with pension plan administration
7. Assist employees with NIS Benefits including Maternity, Sickness, etc.

PAYROLL
1. Review and verify timesheets
2. Apply overtime and commission
3. Prepare and submit payroll for approval for each cycle
4. Prepare and Issue payslips to each employee per cycle
5. Maintain and update all payroll records monthly
6. Investigate and solve payroll discrepancies
7. Prepare and distribute TD4s annually

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or similar
- 2+ years working experience in Payroll
- Experience with HRplus (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of National Insurance Regulations and Local Tax Laws
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical, reporting, organizational, creative, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
