Requirements:
🌻Formal training in Floristry, and/or an equivalent amount of experience as a Florist.
🌻Computer Literacy
🌻Excellent oral and written communication skills
🌻A minimum of five (5) O Level/CSEC subjects, inclusive of Mathematics and English Language.
Duties and Responsibilities:
🌻Fill all orders as documented by the Logistics Supervisor and/or the Sales Team.
🌻Make traditional corsages, bouquets, wreaths, and arrangements as well as other kinds of original designs.
🌻Create original designs.
🌻Work with a wide range of foliage and flowers.
🌻Participating in the ordering and purchase process for flowers and supplies from suppliers.
🌻Assists with the proper care of flowers. (Keep flowers watered and fresh. Cut stems to proper length.)
🌻Care and maintenance of all flowers in the Walk-in Deli Display Display.
🌻Wait on customers in floral shop, as and when required.
🌻Guide customers about the care, maintenance, and handling of flowers and foliage, as and when required.
🌻Provide advice and suggestions to customers for flower selection, as and when required.
🌻Prepare displays in the Shop.
🌻Assists with the unpacking of flowers and preparation for storage.
🌻Cleaning and proper maintenance of the Potting Room.
🌻Deliver flowers to clients if necessary.

Arrange both real and artificial flowers for display at occasions or in the home or office.
⭐️🌻Floral Assistant
The incumbent will be required to provide support to Floral Design Team with a variety of activities, including but not limited to:
🌻Learning and Helping with all tasks involved with the preparation of the flowers for use by the Florists (stem cleaning; hydrating; cleaning vases; filling vases; retrieving items from stock; daily cleaning & tidying the Potting Room; cleaning of chillers in the Potting Room);
🌻Assisting with all tasks specific to efficient and effective storage of the flowers before and after use (by the Florists).
🌻Researching techniques for floral care.
🌻Assisting with production during high peak periods.
🌻Maintaining the design tools and equipment used by the Florists;
🌻replenishing supplies (stock checks; preparation of lists to replenish the Potting Room stock, or to re-order general stock).
