CLAIMS TECHNICIAN
The Claim Technician will be required to assist with the claims handling activities within the Claims Department and administer efficient customer service with particular focus on motor lines of business.
He/she must always be customer oriented, efficient, fair and reasonable in performing our claims operational duties while promoting great teamwork within the Claims Team and organization.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Associates Degree or
• Cert CII will be an asset
• Professional qualification in Insurance, Risk Management or Claims will be an asset
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in related field.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
• Good problem solving and decision-making skills
• Able to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
